   Mum leaves at midnight. Work the chore board toward roughly USD 180, treat every knock as an interrupt, and hold Sanity until 6 AM.

   Never open the door blind

   Run house, CCTV, night vision, voice, and outside checks. Safe visitors get the door. Anomalies get the porch light turned off.

   Memorise the hard tells

   Vampire is always fake. Goblin Stalker cannot hurt you. Secret Agent and Lost Girl often need night vision before you decide.

   Use the identifier when stuck

   Open the anomaly identifier tool on a second screen, filter by the evidence you see, then confirm in-game before flipping the light.

   Spend coins on survival first

   Lobby shop upgrades that protect Sanity beat vanity buys. Failed nights still bank coins for the next run.
